A man was wanted Sunday morning after forcing a security cordon set up at the Concorde in Paris for the Tour de France by the police, who fired shots, did we police said.



The driver flees

In the Champs-Elysees, around 8:00 am, a motorist crashed into a vehicle before absconding to evade a police check deployed for the Tour de France, police said, confirming a report by RTL.



“No casualties”

The driver is then directed to the Place de la Concorde, forcing the dam created on the course of the cycling race. The police then fired shots to stop the vehicle, no casualties. There was no exchange of fire, so no shooting, the source said, speaking of a “refusal to comply” . As is customary in such situations, the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) was seized.
