Ille-et-Vilaine: two people died in a collision between a TER and a car – The Parisian

Uis no collision between a TER train and a car killed two people on the road linking Saint-Brieuc to Rennes, a-t we learned Tuesday from the fire brigade and the SNCF.
“A TER struck a car on a level crossing between Rennes and Saint-Brieuc. There are three people involved to the edge of the car, two of whom are deceased”, said to AFP the fire department of Ille-et-Vilaine.

“according To the evidence we have, the level crossing was functioning normally. We don’t know the reason why the car ended up at this place”, specified to the AFP a responsible officer of the SNCF for the region of Brittany.
On his Twitter account, the SNCF specifies that four hours of delay are to be expected. The bus replacement was put in place.
An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
